'Inspiring' Southend praised by England's mental health lead

England's leading mental health director has praised Southend-on-Sea’s work on the issue, calling the borough “inspiring”.

Dr Geraldine Strathdee is NHS England’s National Clinical Director for Mental Health. She recently attended the South East Essex Mental Health Summit, which was organised by a number of partners including NHS Southend Clinical Commissioning Group and Southend-on-Sea Borough Council.
