Thank you for taking the time to share your views and ideas. You have an opportunity to influence how health will be provided in the future. Your experience, knowledge and ideas are key to helping us tackle the pressures we face and develop a new approach for the future.
NHS England has launched a national campaign ‘A Call to Action’ which is starting a national debate about how the NHS can address the challenges it faces.
We are looking for local views and feedback from across the borough and want everyone to be involved and have their say. It is important that people share their views and feedback as it helps us to shape NHS services for the future. The main question is: ‘how we can do things differently and better?’. ‘A Call to Action’ is an opportunity for everyone in Southend who uses or works in the NHS, to have their say on its future.
We recognise the challenges locally and have been engaging with local residents on plans to improve local NHS services as part of our longer term strategic plans. We welcome your thoughts, views and ideas. Please click here to fill out an online feedback form.
How will your feedback be used?
Locally, the aim is to use the views, data and information from the public, which we will use to develop its healthcare plans (also known as commissioning intentions) and help improve services for the future.
A public meeting was held after the NHS Southend CCG governing body meeting on 28 November 2013 - click on the links below for:
How can you get involved?
We are keen to listen to the public’s views and ideas about any aspect of local health services and how you would like to be involved going forward. There are lots of ways in which you can do this:
